We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take charge of daily accounting operations and lead a team of staff accountants. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity 100% ONSITE in office in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas. Contract-to-Hire Accounting Manager:Responsibilities:• Supervise and mentor a team of staff accountants, providing leadership and support to ensure their detail oriented growth.• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, profit and loss reports, and account reconciliations.• Delegate and monitor tasks related to data entry and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.• Collaborate with senior leadership to transition client accounts smoothly while maintaining exceptional client relationships.• Work across multiple industries to deliver tailored accounting services that meet diverse business needs.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational processes to uphold accuracy and transparency.• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement audits.• Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain and organize financial records effectively.• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for monthly and annual reviews.• Assist in implementing accounting strategies that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.

• Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other accounting software. • Background in public accounting or managing multiple client accounts is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close procedures. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. • Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries. • Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. • Ability to work across various industries and adapt to diverse accounting requirements. • Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance best practices.
