We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cottontown, Tennessee. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, particularly in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in financial operations and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring all financials are accurately prepared and finalized. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and accurate. • Prepare and post journal entries, adhering to company policies and accounting standards. • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Handle bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and ensuring proper documentation. • Oversee fixed asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. • Utilize Netsuite to streamline accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records. • Provide detailed analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the automotive industry. • Proficiency in Netsuite or similar accounting software. • Strong expertise in month-end close, general ledger management, and journal entry preparation. • Solid understanding of account and bank reconciliations. • Proven experience in fixed asset accounting and related reporting. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
