We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices and assign appropriate codes for accurate accounts payable management. • Handle credit card expenses using Divvy and maintain proper documentation. • Perform monthly account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure financial accuracy. • Assist in preparing month-end financial reports and closing activities. • Support audit procedures by providing necessary documentation and information. • Collaborate with team members across departments to streamline accounting processes. • Utilize accounting platforms such as NetSuite and bill.com to manage financial data effectively.

• Proven experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite and bill.com. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills to support inter-team collaboration.
