Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for visitors and staff. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Open the building promptly each morning and ensure the reception area is ready to welcome visitors.<br>• Greet all guests and visitors warmly, providing answers to general inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members.<br>• Notify staff of visitors or appointments and manage incoming messages using the internal message system.<br>• Maintain a detailed log of individuals entering and exiting the building to ensure safety and compliance.<br>• Accept and organize incoming mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution to recipients while managing outgoing mail and deliveries.<br>• Serve as the first point of contact for the company, providing exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone.<br>• Keep the reception and mailroom areas clean, organized, and clutter-free.<br>• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.<br>• Secure the building by locking the front door at the designated time and coordinating alarm settings with remaining staff.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a front desk or receptionist role.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist and direct visitors effectively.<br>• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing customer inquiries.<br>• Ability to organize and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently.<br>• Experience in basic office administration and data entry tasks.<br>• Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain a detail-oriented demeanor in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of building security protocols, including managing logs and alarm systems.<br>• Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk and mailroom area.
