Medical Receptionist
We are looking for a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently within a medical setting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet patients and visitors in a detail-oriented manner and provide assistance as needed.<br>• Manage scheduling and appointment coordination to ensure smooth patient flow.<br>• Maintain and update patient medical records accurately and securely.<br>• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.<br>• Process documentation, including insurance forms and referrals, with precision.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare and edit correspondence and other documents.<br>• Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and welcoming.<br>• Collaborate with medical staff to support daily operations and administrative needs.<br>• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations.<br>• Assist in resolving minor patient concerns or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other basic computer applications.<br>• Experience managing medical records and familiarity with healthcare documentation.<br>• Proven ability to perform receptionist duties in a detail-oriented setting.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.<br>• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus.
