This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the financial health of properties. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for property management, this opportunity could be a great fit for you. *This position is 100% in-office and will be responsible for traveling to their properties which are spread across Lakeview, Edgewater, Old Town, Lincoln Park and West Town. The person hired will oversee approximately 300 units across 5 buildings. Experience managing B/C class properties is required. This position pays $60,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience, plus bonus incentives and full benefits. Responsibilities:• Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions and timely unit turnovers.• Maintain accurate rent roll records and monitor rent collection through an online management platform.• Handle maintenance requests and coordinate vendor services to ensure timely issue resolution.• Prepare annual budgets and manage financial operations, including invoice processing.• Screen tenants thoroughly by conducting employer verifications, background checks, and reference reviews.• Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and maintaining high satisfaction levels.• Procure vendor bids for property-related services and negotiate contracts.• Monitor and manage online portals to track maintenance requests, tenant payments, and other activities.• Take ownership of special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.• Ensure compliance with property management standards and regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.• Experience working with B/C class properties required.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with tenants and vendors.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word; familiarity with Appfolio or similar platforms is a plus.• High level of integrity and professionalism in managing tenant relations and property operations.• Ability to perform light maintenance tasks is an advantage.• Local travel required to oversee and manage property sites.• Fluency in Spanish or Polish is a plus but not mandatory.
