Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes. This is a long-term contract position based in Chesterfield, Missouri, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial management and a proven ability to maintain compliance with accounting standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.<br>• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.<br>• Prepare and review financial statements for audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.<br>• Oversee account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Supervise the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure proper documentation.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of accounting practices with organizational goals.<br>• Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounting processes.<br>• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.<br>• Monitor financial data to identify trends and potential risks.<br>• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, maintaining consistent standards.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and account reconciliation.<br>• Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements.<br>• Proficiency in preparing and managing journal entries.<br>• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.<br>• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and tools.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
