Store Set Up Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Set Up Specialist to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth utility coordination for new, relocating, or expanding retail locations. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively and maintain accurate records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate the setup and disconnection of utilities for retail stores undergoing changes such as opening, relocating, or expanding.<br>• Communicate professionally with landlords, general contractors, and other external parties to address utility-related needs.<br>• Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking multiple store locations and their utility accounts.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate payment of utility bills and resolve discrepancies as needed.<br>• Conduct thorough research to address issues and facilitate reimbursements to landlords when appropriate.<br>• Perform monthly reconciliations of utility accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br>• Analyze data to identify trends or irregularities in utility payments.<br>• Process electronic payments efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
• Proven experience in data entry, with the ability to handle high volumes accurately.<br>• Strong analytical skills to perform detailed reviews and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Familiarity with electronic payment systems and processes.<br>• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with external stakeholders such as landlords and contractors.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in spreadsheet software for tracking and reconciling accounts.<br>• Previous experience in a utility coordination or similar role is a plus.<br>• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
