Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Centennial, Colorado. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting general accounting tasks. This is a contract position that offers flexibility, with potential for growth based on business needs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process invoices and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.<br>• Generate and send invoices while performing basic accounts receivable duties.<br>• Assign bills to the correct general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding.<br>• Review and reconcile credit card transactions to maintain accurate records.<br>• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in expenses and journal entries.<br>• Create and oversee purchase orders to support procurement processes.<br>• Perform routine reconciliations and data entry tasks to support accounting operations.<br>• Compile reports and assist with general accounting tasks as needed.<br>• Provide occasional administrative support for HR-related tasks.<br>• Ensure financial transactions are consistently recorded with precision and accuracy.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is essential.<br>• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, including bill entry and coding.<br>• Strong skills in credit card reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Knowledge of expense and accounts payable accounting principles.<br>• Experience in creating and managing purchase orders.<br>• Solid understanding of reconciliation and auditing processes.<br>• High attention to detail and strong general accounting knowledge.<br>• Ability to work independently and efficiently after initial onboarding.
