<p>We are looking for a success-driven HR Recruiter to join our team in Calumet City, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in driving our talent acquisition strategies within the food and food processing industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting with top talent, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates for placement.</p><p>• Develop and implement strategies to meet business and HR goals, including initiatives for military, college, and diversity recruiting.</p><p>• Leverage multiple recruitment channels such as career fairs, social media, community events, and digital platforms to attract active and passive candidates.</p><p>• Provide candidates with detailed information about compensation, benefits, policies, and procedures to create a positive and informative experience.</p><p>• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand staffing needs and provide consultation on hiring decisions.</p><p>• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.</p><p>• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems and other tools to manage candidate pipelines effectively.</p><p>• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and potential candidates.</p><p>• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive intelligence to refine sourcing strategies.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $24 to $25/hr. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.<br>• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting or sourcing, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing.<br>• Familiarity with military and college recruiting processes is a plus.<br>• Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with iCims is advantageous.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively.<br>• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships with candidates and business stakeholders.<br>• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities.<br>• Creative thinker who utilizes social media and innovative methods for sourcing talent.
