We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and familiarity with construction industry practices. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate entries. • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. • Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end close activities. • Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Handle budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning. • Conduct job costing analysis to ensure profitability and cost control. • Prepare journal entries and maintain proper documentation. • Execute bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally within the construction industry. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite is required. • Solid understanding of general ledger functions and journal entries. • Expertise in account and bank reconciliations. • Strong analytical skills, particularly in budgeting and cost analysis. • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
