Accounts Payable / Amin Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Admin Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, you will manage financial transactions and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice coding and entry, with a focus on accuracy.<br>• Conduct check runs and manage payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH) systems.<br>• Reconcile credit card statements and account balances to ensure financial records are up-to-date.<br>• Perform administrative tasks to support the finance team, such as organizing documents and maintaining records.<br>• Assist with account reconciliation efforts to identify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial operations.<br>• Enter and maintain data in accounting systems, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.<br>• Handle inquiries related to financial transactions and provide timely resolutions.<br>• Support month-end closing activities by ensuring all payable accounts are addressed.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.<br>• Proficiency in invoice coding and processing.<br>• Strong knowledge of check runs and ACH payment systems.<br>• Experience in credit card reconciliation and account balancing.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain records.<br>• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address inquiries.
