We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers flexible hours, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The role involves managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to uphold financial integrity. • Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail. • Manage account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial records. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and reporting. • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting models to support financial planning. • Collaborate with team members to ensure financial compliance and efficiency. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. • Assist in managing the financial operations of multiple campuses, including virtual and physical locations.

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software. • Demonstrated experience with budgeting and forecasting processes. • Expertise in preparing and posting journal entries. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
