Apply today!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time (40 hours/week)</li><li><strong>Duration:</strong> 6-month contract (extension or conversion possible)</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> 100% Remote (U.S.)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and deploy <strong>Python-based microservices</strong> in an AWS cloud environment</li><li>Support and extend existing <strong>serverless Lambda services</strong> and deployment pipelines</li><li>Write clean, secure, and maintainable code with a focus on production readiness</li><li>Work within an established <strong>CI/CD pipeline</strong> to deploy and manage services</li><li>Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers</li><li>Support <strong>production monitoring, debugging, and root-cause analysis</strong></li><li>Leverage <strong>AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot)</strong> to improve development efficiency and code quality</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Strong backend experience with <strong>Python</strong>, specifically in <strong>microservices architectures</strong></li><li>Hands-on experience deploying and supporting services in <strong>AWS</strong>, ideally <strong>serverless (Lambda)</strong></li><li>Ability to <strong>read, understand, and extend existing codebases</strong> (not just greenfield work)</li><li>Experience working with <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and modern deployment workflows</li><li>Comfort supporting <strong>production systems</strong>, including troubleshooting and debugging</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>AWS observability/monitoring</strong> (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)</li><li>Prior work in <strong>event-driven architectures</strong></li><li>Experience using <strong>GitHub Copilot or other AI coding tools</strong></li><li>Exposure to API development and backend service design</li></ul><p><br></p>
