<p>We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. If you excel in managing financial processes and take pride in delivering accurate results, this role provides a rewarding pathway to grow your career.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Record and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure financial data integrity.</p><p>• Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.</p><p>• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support organizational decision-making.</p><p>• Reconcile accounts and perform general ledger coding to ensure compliance and accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.</p><p>• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting functions.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with grant funding requirements and maintain accurate grant accounting records.</p><p>• Support accounting tasks related to non-profit operations, if applicable.</p>

• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred but not mandatory.<br>• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Experience with non-profit accounting and/or grant accounting is highly desirable.<br>• Solid understanding of reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management.<br>• Proven reliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of trustworthiness.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
