We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and expertise in financial processes and reporting. As part of the role, you will ensure compliance with accounting standards while managing financial data and documentation. Responsibilities:• Prepare accurate financial reports in compliance with GAAP accounting standards.• Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients.• Manage budgeting activities, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.• Calculate payments and verify financial transactions to maintain accuracy.• Maintain organized documentation to support client audits and internal reviews.• Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection and address discrepancies.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes align with organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.• Proficiency in GAAP accounting principles and practices.• Strong skills in budgeting and financial forecasting.• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial tools.• Experience with invoicing and payment calculations.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
