Customer Service Representative II
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative I to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this long-term contract role, you will assist customers with vehicle impoundment processes, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to deliver outstanding service and handle documentation efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide clear guidance to customers on required documentation and procedures for vehicle release, auction, or disposal.<br>• Explain the implications of impoundment policies, including fees and restrictions on vehicle registration or tags.<br>• Review and validate official forms, such as police reports and towing receipts, for accuracy and completeness.<br>• Verify customer documentation, such as vehicle registration, driver’s licenses, and insurance, for authenticity.<br>• Determine appropriate steps for vehicle release, auction, or disposal based on impoundment circumstances and applicable laws.<br>• Access and retrieve data from the Department of Motor Vehicle database to identify liens or outstanding violations associated with vehicles.<br>• Schedule and coordinate administrative hearings to resolve disputes related to impounded vehicles.<br>• Maintain electronic records and ensure proper filing of all documentation.<br>• Deliver exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Experience with indexing and electronic record management.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.<br>• Strong organizational and filing skills.<br>• Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving.<br>• Ability to review and analyze documents for accuracy and compliance.<br>• Familiarity with vehicle impoundment policies and procedures is a plus.<br>• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
