Responsibilities:• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and records by compiling and analyzing account data.• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.• Assist in monthly closings and contribute to the preparation of financial statements.• Support yearly audits and create detailed financial management reports.• Process payroll, verify documentation, and reconcile payroll sub-ledgers with the general ledger.• File tax returns and ensure compliance with all payment, reporting, and tax-related requirements.• Develop, implement, and document efficient accounting and recordkeeping systems.• Stay informed on federal, state, and local financial regulations, advising management on compliance actions.• Keep management updated on financial status and company developments.• Enhance job knowledge through ongoing education, industry publications, and networking.

• Proficiency in corporate tax preparation and sales tax compliance. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger management. • Experience conducting audits and preparing detailed financial reports. • Ability to manage budgets and track financial performance effectively. • Proficient in using QuickBooks Online for accounting tasks. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formula creation and data analysis. • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
