We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bakersfield, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the efficient handling of high-volume accounts payable tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in organization, accuracy, and collaboration while maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and internal departments. Responsibilities:• Process a large volume of invoices with precision and ensure compliance with company policies.• Conduct three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and packing slips for operational and production needs.• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries in a timely and attentive manner.• Prepare and manage weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.• Support month-end closing activities by preparing accounts payable accruals and related documentation.• Maintain comprehensive and organized records for all accounts payable transactions, both digital and physical.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate coding of invoices and resolve discrepancies efficiently.• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and address unresolved issues as needed.• Take part in additional accounting tasks and contribute to special projects as required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and reconciliation. • Strong knowledge of payment methods such as ACH transfers, wire payments, and check runs. • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately. • Experience with three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and packing slips. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams. • Familiarity with accounting software and systems commonly used for accounts payable tasks.
