Contracts Director
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Director to oversee and manage a variety of sales and vendor contracts from inception to execution and beyond. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, negotiating terms, and maintaining effective systems for contract management. Based in Austin, Texas, this role requires exceptional communication and analytical abilities to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the administration and management of sales-related contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and modifying agreements.<br>• Monitor contract deliverables, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon obligations and timelines.<br>• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address questions and provide guidance on contract-related matters.<br>• Negotiate and review vendor contracts in partnership with buyers and budget owners across the organization.<br>• Develop and implement streamlined processes and systems for managing contract information, workflows, and cross-functional input.<br>• Create and maintain contract templates to facilitate efficient business transactions.<br>• Conduct audits of contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.<br>• Analyze contract terms and provisions to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business objectives.<br>• Drive process improvements by challenging existing practices and implementing creative solutions.
• Extensive experience in commercial contract management, including drafting, negotiation, and administration.<br>• Strong knowledge of contract law, provisions, and compliance practices.<br>• Proven ability to manage vendor contracts and federal government contracts.<br>• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.<br>• Familiarity with contract audits and tracking deliverables.<br>• Experience creating and maintaining contract templates.<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects and workflows simultaneously.
