We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with organizational standards. This position requires expertise in handling general ledger tasks, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all tasks. • Manage general ledger operations, including maintenance and reconciliation of accounts. • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance. • Conduct account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements. • Utilize accounting software such as Yardi to streamline processes and maintain data integrity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related inquiries. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards within all accounting processes.

• Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of general ledger operations and journal entry preparation. • Proficiency in account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis. • Hands-on experience with Yardi accounting software. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
