<p>We are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Arlington, Virginia. This role is essential in supporting legal operations, particularly in litigation, discovery, and trial preparation. For immediate consideration, apply today and contact Grace Nowlin at (202) 998-8423 for additional information.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by gathering and organizing necessary documents.</p><p>• Manage discovery processes, including collecting and reviewing relevant information and evidence.</p><p>• Oversee case management software to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow.</p><p>• Conduct research and provide detailed analysis of civil litigation matters.</p><p>• Draft and review legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court-related documents.</p><p>• Coordinate with external parties, such as clients and witnesses, to facilitate legal proceedings.</p><p>• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.</p><p>• Provide administrative support for litigation activities, ensuring deadlines and schedules are met.</p><p>• Monitor case progress and communicate updates to legal teams.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations throughout all case activities.</p>
• Proven experience as a corporate paralegal, particularly in civil litigation.<br>• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and legal documentation.<br>• Proficiency in using case management software for organizing and tracking legal cases.<br>• Familiarity with trial preparation, including gathering evidence and coordinating schedules.<br>• Excellent research skills and ability to analyze complex legal matters.<br>• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.<br>• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with legal teams and external stakeholders.<br>• Understanding of legal procedures and compliance standards.
