Supply Chain Analyst
We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This long-term contract position focuses on overseeing inventory processes across multiple locations, ensuring smooth distribution, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to managing logistics operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor and manage inventory levels at transload locations, warehouses, and packaging facilities to ensure accurate tracking and optimal stock levels.<br>• Coordinate railcar shipments, truck tendering, and inventory reconciliation to maintain efficient distribution workflows.<br>• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer delivery requirements, addressing shipment issues and ensuring timely resolutions.<br>• Maintain clear communication with service providers, ensuring shipping records and invoices are processed accurately.<br>• Execute distribution strategies while focusing on cost management and operational efficiency.<br>• Provide off-hours coverage and support to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.<br>• Adhere to safety policies and procedures while performing backfill duties as needed.<br>• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to facilitate seamless shipment execution.<br>• Utilize data entry systems to track inventory and maintain documentation readiness.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management; railcar fleet experience is preferred.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is ideal.<br>• Proficiency in supply chain management tools and inventory tracking systems.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and service providers.<br>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.<br>• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in logistics operations.<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
