We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring timely collections. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while fostering positive relationships with clients. Responsibilities: • Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances. • Utilize Oracle software to accurately record and track collection activities. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments, billing, or short balances. • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to address and resolve disputes. • Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify trends and provide updates on collection efforts. • Recommend appropriate actions for accounts requiring escalation, write-offs, or legal intervention. • Maintain strong customer relationships while upholding company payment policies and standards. • Monitor collection processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company guidelines during collection activities.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and consumer collections. • Proficiency in Oracle for managing collection processes and tracking accounts. • Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection procedures. • Excellent problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong communication skills to maintain positive customer relationships. • Experience analyzing aging reports and identifying trends. • Familiarity with escalation procedures and legal actions in collections.
