Staff Accountant
<p>We are looking for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a growing organization while advancing your career.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Maintain and review accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Perform monthly closings and prepare financial reports, forms, and analyses.</p><p>• Handle general ledger management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and job cost tracking.</p><p>• Create and submit government reports and tax returns related to construction projects.</p><p>• Develop and oversee project budgets, tax filings, and financial forecasts.</p><p>• Apply precise accounting practices to ensure proper maintenance of fiscal records.</p><p>• Analyze costs and provide business insights to support financial decision-making.</p><p>• Cost accounting</p><p>• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.</p>
<p>• Highschool diploma</p><p>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry. </p><p>• Knowledge of cost accounting</p><p>• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.</p><p>• Proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.</p><p>• Ability to prepare detailed budgets, tax reports, and financial forecasts.</p><p>• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.</p><p>• Advanced skills in cost accounting and financial analysis.</p><p><br></p>
