We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will act as a financial advisor and controller for designated business units, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls. You will also play a key role in enhancing accounting processes, providing technical expertise, and delivering actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts and reports to support strategic planning and operational decisions.<br>• Oversee compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS, as well as internal control procedures.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain the accuracy of account reconciliations.<br>• Provide technical accounting expertise and operational guidance to internal stakeholders.<br>• Lead initiatives aimed at improving accounting efficiency, accuracy, and system functionality.<br>• Coordinate with auditors to facilitate internal and external audit processes.<br>• Mentor accounting staff at the entry level to enhance team capabilities and ensure consistency in applying systems and procedures.<br>• Support manufacturing cost accounting activities, including labor and material analyses.<br>• Identify and address financial risks to ensure operational continuity and reporting accuracy.

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>• 7 years of full-cycle accounting experience.</p><p>• At least 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing accounting.</p><p>• Proficiency in ERP software</p><p>• Strong analytical skills with knowledge in cost accounting and inventory management.</p><p>• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and complex formulas.</p><p>• Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting standards like GAAP and IFRS.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information effectively.</p>
