  • We are looking for a meticulous Compliance Specialist to support law firm risk and intake operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This hybrid position is well suited to a legal specialist who understands conflicts review, client onboarding, and matter setup within a fast-moving services environment. The person in this role will work closely with attorneys and internal partners to assess potential issues, facilitate accurate intake processing, and help maintain strong compliance standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct detailed conflict checks for prospective clients, new matters, and attorney hires using the firm&#39;s designated research tools.<br>• Review and interpret search findings to identify ethical, business, and positional conflict concerns that may affect engagement decisions.<br>• Investigate company relationships, affiliate structures, and ownership connections to support accurate conflict assessments.<br>• Refer higher-risk or unclear conflict situations to senior legal or compliance leadership for further review and guidance.<br>• Prepare and coordinate documentation related to waivers, disclosures, and other conflict-related communications as needed.<br>• Evaluate new business intake submissions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal compliance expectations.<br>• Open new matters and help move client onboarding activities forward by partnering with attorneys and administrative teams.<br>• Maintain organized records and produce clear written summaries or reports to support risk management and due diligence efforts.
