The position works across payroll, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and recruitment while helping maintain clear standards in a hands-on work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee daily human resources activities, including employee support, policy guidance, and routine HR administration for a workforce of approximately 50 to 60 employees.<br>• Process payroll accurately using ADP systems, review time records for discrepancies, and help ensure timely and compliant wage administration.<br>• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new employee documentation, orientation steps, and separation paperwork.<br>• Administer benefits and employee leave programs while answering questions and supporting compliance with applicable California requirements.<br>• Address employee relations matters professionally, reinforce workplace expectations, and apply company policies consistently and fairly.<br>• Support safety-related HR processes, including workers’ compensation coordination, claim follow-up, and documentation management.<br>• Assist with recruitment activities such as posting openings, screening candidates, and helping managers move candidates through the selection process.<br>• Maintain HR records and HRIS data with accuracy, and partner with external HR consultants when specialized guidance is needed.
