  • <p>We're Hiring a Bookkeeper for a small but growing business in Wilton, CT. This person will be responsible for all AP/AR and payroll using QuickBooks. This is an on-site position 5 days a week in Wilton, CT so to be considered, all candidates must be commutable. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including postings to the general ledger using QuickBooks.</p><p>• Reconcile monthly bank accounts, credit card statements, and lines of credit payable.</p><p>• Handle bank deposits and ensure timely processing of customer invoices and collections.</p><p>• Manage accounts payable by processing and coding invoices, as well as issuing payments.</p><p>• Prepare and file sales tax reports across multiple states.</p><p>• Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate employee payments.</p><p>• Administer insurance policies and provide quarterly and year-end financial statements along with supporting documentation.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with income tax filings for both business and individual shareholders, working closely with external tax preparers.</p><p>• Collaborate on quarterly and annual financial statement reviews with external partners.</p><p>• Manage annual property declaration reporting and provide additional financial reports such as gross profit analysis and W-2 calculations as required.</p>

Looking for an experienced and hardworking Controller to handle all aspects of Accounting and Finance and Operations for this growing residential real estate firm. Will handle the monthly close, financial statements, working with the lenders and outside auditors, insurance, operations and supervise the accounting team. Accounting Manager

  • <p>Mid-size and growing manufacturing company with a major plant / office site located in Western Morris County is seeking an Accounting Manager. This position will report to the controller, and oversee all accounting operations, month end close and assist with financial reporting to the Private Equity owners.  This is a HANDS-ON position but will also have leadership / supervisory responsibilities and oversee a team of 3-4 accounting professionals.  MUST have some supervisory experience.  Prefer candidates to have Manufacturing industry experience including some knowledge of cost and inventory but not required.  Experience with reporting to Private Equity ownership is a major Plus as well.  The company uses ORACLE, which is a plus, but any major ERP system experience will be acceptable. CPA / MBA preferred but not required here.     Looking for 6+ years of strong hands-on accounting experience with at least 2 years at a Management level, working in mid-size companies.  The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $115-135K range plus bonus, depending on experience and including good benefits.  Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office / 2 days remote.   Very nice office location and environment in Northwestern NJ as well.  Great for candidates living in western NJ!   </p>
