<p>We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Insurance Defense Attorney to join our client's SF legal team on a contract basis. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of insurance-related litigation, including personal injury, property damage, and liability claims. </p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception through resolution.</li><li>Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.</li><li>Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.</li><li>Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.</li><li>Analyze complex legal and factual issues to develop case strategies.</li><li>Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, clients, and opposing counsel.</li><li>Negotiate settlements and prepare case evaluations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with billing guidelines and maintain accurate timekeeping.</li><li>Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage case files and deadlines.</li></ul>
<p>We are partnering with an LA-based entertainment union in their search for a junior level Legal Assistant to join their team. This role revolves around providing comprehensive legal and administrative support, carrying out a variety of tasks such as preparing legal documents, conducting research, maintaining client confidentiality, and performing various administrative duties.
