Project Manager/Sr. Consultant
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to oversee transportation-related engineering projects in York, Pennsylvania. This role demands a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the engineering aspects of transportation projects, ensuring smooth execution of scope, schedule, and budget.<br>• Plan, coordinate, and manage detailed phases of engineering work for moderate to large-scale projects.<br>• Perform and review complex engineering calculations to address design challenges and material constraints.<br>• Supervise and mentor team members, including entry-level engineers, designers, and technicians.<br>• Develop project proposals, work plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with project managers.<br>• Facilitate client meetings and collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure project success.<br>• Conduct site visits and field assessments to support design validation and project development.<br>• Produce design plans, profiles, and diagrams using AutoCAD and MicroStation software.<br>• Manage QA/QC processes throughout all project stages to maintain quality standards.<br>• Stay updated on transportation design standards, regulations, materials, and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.<br>• At least 7 years of experience in engineering design, with a focus on transportation projects.<br>• Licensed Engineer (PE) certification.<br>• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation for design and drafting.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for project documentation and communication.<br>• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and IT project management.<br>• PMP certification to demonstrate advanced project management expertise.<br>• Experience with Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing project workflows.
