Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role focuses on estate matters, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure smooth processes and proper documentation. You will play a key role in supporting probate procedures and assisting beneficiaries.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and file probate petitions and other legal documents with accuracy.<br>• Manage estate accounts and ensure proper valuation and distribution of assets.<br>• Collaborate with beneficiaries to provide clear communication and updates throughout the estate process.<br>• Conduct research and compile data related to estate planning and probate law.<br>• Handle court filings and ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines.<br>• Support attorneys in settling estate matters efficiently and effectively.<br>• Maintain organized records and documentation for estate cases.<br>• Assist with estate tax filings and related financial documentation.<br>• Coordinate and communicate with third parties, such as financial institutions or appraisers, as needed.<br>• Review and verify estate documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Proven experience in probate and estate planning processes.<br>• Strong understanding of legal documentation and filing procedures.<br>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with beneficiaries and other stakeholders.<br>• Familiarity with estate accounting and asset valuation.<br>• Proficiency in legal research and data compilation.<br>• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
