We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of the Global Finance Transformation roadmap. This position will focus on managing complex cross-functional projects, primarily in the area of data governance, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. As a long-term contract role based in Woburn, Massachusetts, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful finance transformation initiatives while working in a hybrid environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Global Finance Transformation projects, with a primary focus on data governance initiatives.<br>• Develop detailed work plans for every phase of assigned projects, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and timelines.<br>• Assign responsibilities and define the scope of work for team members to ensure clear understanding and efficient collaboration.<br>• Prepare and present comprehensive project status updates to key stakeholders, including Finance leadership and working groups.<br>• Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met within agreed parameters.<br>• Identify potential risks and issues, and create proactive response plans to mitigate challenges.<br>• Review project proposals to determine feasibility, resource needs, budget constraints, and overall project scope.<br>• Maintain resource allocation data in the resource management system to ensure optimal utilization.<br>• Adhere to recognized project management methodologies and best practices, ensuring consistent and efficient project execution.<br>• Perform additional tasks as required to support the success of the Finance Transformation team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Program Management, or a related field, or equivalent detail-oriented experience.<br>• 8-12 years of experience managing projects, with a preference for expertise in finance process improvements and finance IT projects.<br>• Familiarity with data governance projects is highly desirable.<br>• Proficiency in project management tools, with Smartsheet experience considered a plus.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and updates to various stakeholders.<br>• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional teams and levels of an organization to achieve project goals.<br>• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments, with a focus on meeting deadlines.<br>• Project Management detail-oriented (PMP) certification is preferred.
