Logistics Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you will handle essential regulatory recordkeeping tasks and support customs reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess strong organizational and administrative skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation through both physical and electronic filing systems.<br>• Execute customs reconciliation processes, ensuring timely submission of required forms and compliance with regulations.<br>• Compile and organize annual data such as income statements, material costs, customs database information, and other relevant records.<br>• Process and submit forms for customs reconciliation to prevent penalties and ensure compliance with mandatory deadlines.<br>• Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather reports and data from brokers, trade activity requests, freight costs, and invoicing information.<br>• Monitor and manage recordkeeping systems to ensure accessibility and accuracy.<br>• Support shipping and receiving tasks to facilitate efficient logistics operations.<br>• Perform scanning and e-filing tasks to maintain organized and secure document storage.<br>• Assist in the preparation and review of import/export documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.<br>• Coordinate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues related to logistics processes.
• Previous experience in logistics or shipping and receiving roles.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and document scanning.<br>• Familiarity with e-filing systems and electronic recordkeeping.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Knowledge of customs reconciliation processes and regulatory requirements.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Experience in handling shipping functions and logistics operations.
