<p>The Cost Accounting Manager oversees the standard costing system for four companies, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and timely reporting of cost variances. Comp up to $125k + bonus </p><p><br></p><p>Key duties include:</p><ul><li>Creating and maintaining standard costs and inventory valuation processes</li><li>Analyzing and communicating monthly variance, job close variances, and overhead absorption</li><li>Preparing inventory reconciliations and reserve calculations</li><li>Supporting annual budget, monthly forecasts, and ERP system conversions</li><li>Leveraging ERP and financial platforms to improve reporting and efficiency</li><li>Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies</li></ul><p>Leadership responsibilities include supporting the accounting team, collaborating across departments, supervising direct reports, and fostering a culture of teamwork.</p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in cost accounting, ERP systems, and advanced Excel (SQL knowledge a plus)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred</li><li>7+ years’ experience with standard costing in ERP manufacturing (Dynamics AX experience a plus)</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and team leadership skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
