We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to evaluate, enhance, and streamline an existing Windows-based server infrastructure. This role involves working with server configurations, Active Directory, and implementing best practices for a mixed Windows and macOS environment. This is a contract position based in Westlake, Ohio.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assess the current Windows Server setup and implement improvements to ensure optimal performance.<br>• Manage and refine Domain Controller and File Server functionalities.<br>• Provide technical support for a mixed environment of Windows and macOS endpoints.<br>• Collaborate with internal technical staff to test and troubleshoot systems while facilitating knowledge sharing.<br>• Deliver expert recommendations and insights to management regarding infrastructure upgrades and optimizations.

• Extensive experience in deploying and supporting Windows Server in production environments.<br>• Proficiency in Active Directory and file services, with a strong grasp of infrastructure best practices.<br>• Ability to analyze and remediate systems that were not initially configured to industry standards.<br>• Self-driven with the ability to work independently while leveraging support from technical teams.<br>• Previous experience in managing mixed Windows and macOS environments.<br>• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Citrix technologies is preferred.
