We are looking for a skilled Senior LifePro/Cobol Developer to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical abilities and collaborative skills to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using LifePro and Cobol technologies to meet business requirements.<br>• Write and optimize code to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability of software solutions.<br>• Utilize SQL Server databases for data management and reporting tasks.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that align with organizational goals.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing applications to ensure seamless functionality.<br>• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.<br>• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate workflows for testing and deployment.<br>• Assist in the migration of systems and applications to Azure cloud services.<br>• Utilize Azure Pipelines and Data Lake tools to streamline operations and improve productivity.<br>• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer, with strong skills in LifePro and Cobol technologies.<br>• Proficiency in reading, writing, and coding with Cobol.<br>• Solid experience working with SQL Server databases.<br>• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines for automating integration, testing, and deployment.<br>• Knowledge of cloud computing, particularly with Microsoft Azure.<br>• Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
