We are looking for an experienced External Relations Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will help shape and implement strategic communication efforts to enhance public and investor engagement. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams while driving impactful communication initiatives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and execute strategic media and investor engagement plans in collaboration with the External Relations team.<br>• Monitor, analyze, and share real-time media coverage related to company updates and announcements, including preparing weekly coverage summaries.<br>• Support investor engagement activities such as coordinating fixed income investor calls, managing conference logistics, and maintaining investor databases.<br>• Create high-quality content, including press releases, talking points, prep documents, PowerPoint presentations, and other internal and external communications.<br>• Manage team calendars and ensure seamless coordination across cross-functional teams within the organization.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external communications, with preference for candidates with a background in financial services or retirement.<br>• Proficient in advanced writing, editing, proofreading, and PowerPoint skills.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.<br>• Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy and thoroughness in work.<br>• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and meeting tight deadlines.
