Division Controller
We are looking for a Division Controller to oversee financial operations and drive strategic decision-making within our manufacturing division in West Bend, Wisconsin. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and financial leadership, capable of managing complex budgets and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business objectives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct and manage all accounting operations, including preparing monthly financial statements and operational reports for the division.<br>• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by maintaining effective internal controls, reconciling general ledger accounts, and monitoring data accuracy.<br>• Lead the development of annual budgets, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and functional project plans.<br>• Collaborate with managers from various departments to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement recommended changes.<br>• Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that drive consistent performance across plants and functions.<br>• Serve as the primary financial liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.<br>• Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting to support organizational goals and compliance requirements.<br>• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.<br>• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve divisional and corporate objectives.<br>• Proactively identify risks and opportunities to safeguard the financial health of the division.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.<br>• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a comprehensive understanding of financial systems and processes.<br>• Expertise in international financial reporting and tax regulations.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP functions.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.<br>• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.<br>• Proven leadership experience, including supervising and developing teams.<br>• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and standard cost methodologies.
