We are looking for an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team in Wesbrook, Maine. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to financial operations within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing financial data, performing reconciliations, and utilizing accounting software to streamline processes. Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks (desktop version) to manage and maintain accurate financial records. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial statements and banking activity. • Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) transactions with precision. • Create and analyze Excel spreadsheets, leveraging formulas to support financial reporting. • Conduct light financial analysis to identify trends and support decision-making. • Work with Access software to organize and maintain financial data. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including familiarity with QuickBooks desktop version. • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and spreadsheet creation. • Experience with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes. • Strong analytical skills to perform financial analysis and identify key insights. • Familiarity with Access for organizing and managing data. • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations. • Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to accuracy. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
