<p>My client is a law firm looking for a Controller to join their team based in Washington, DC. The ideal Controller for this role will be responsible for supervising small staff, completing the month-end closing process, preparing monthly account reconciliations, posting various journal entries, supporting the billings process, assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable, preparation of the financial statements, assisting with tax filings and other ad hoc projects as required. The company has a great team, offers great flexibility and good work-life balance along with excellent medical benefits. </p><p><br></p><p>Daily responsibilities of the Controller include:</p><p><br></p><p>·      Facilitate month-end close process.</p><p>·      Reconcile balance sheet accounts.</p><p>·      Support billings process.</p><p>·      Post various journal entries.</p><p>·      Prepare financial statements.</p><p>·      Assist with other ad hoc duties.</p>
