Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include, but not limited to the following.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Research fluctuations in account balances/activity and provide detailed explanations to management.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Monitor compliance with Accounting Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Controls requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and records.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Perform reconciliations of accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Ensure timely and accurate recording of journal entries.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Review and analyze ledger entries for accuracy.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.</p><p><br></p><p>-- Work closely with cross-functional teams.</p><p><br></p><p>For immediate consideration regarding the Senior Accountant position, please send your resume to Andy Poquette, VP - Practice Director. ***You can message me on LinkedIn ( Andy Poquette ) to send me your resume directly.
