<p>We are looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team in Union, Illinois. In this contract-to-hire role, you will play a critical part in analyzing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that construction projects are executed within budget and timelines. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the success of various projects while developing leads and maintaining strong client relationships.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Someone with asphalt paving and construction experience is a plus!!</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop detailed cost estimates.</p><p>• Prepare budgets and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy for construction projects.</p><p>• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to align estimates with project goals.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to organize and present cost data effectively.</p><p>• Generate leads from company-provided resources while proactively seeking additional opportunities through cold calling.</p><p>• Collaborate with clients and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.</p><p>• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budget and timeline constraints.</p><p>• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address project-related concerns.</p>

<p>• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred.</p><p>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for cost analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes preferred.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</p><p>• Ability to generate leads through both company-provided resources and independent efforts.</p><p>• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.</p><p>• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in estimates and project planning.</p>
