HR Generalist
<p>Are you passionate about supporting employees and driving organizational success through outstanding HR and benefits management? Our team is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to oversee employee benefits, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration in an on-site role in Tuskegee, Alabama.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement, leave policies, and wellness initiatives.</li><li>Serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, supporting employee understanding and resolving issues.</li><li>Lead benefits enrollment processes, open enrollment periods, and ensure accurate documentation.</li><li>Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient benefit delivery and compliance.</li><li>Maintain records in accordance with regulatory requirements (COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, etc.).</li><li>Support onboarding and offboarding with benefits orientation and exit procedures.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing as related to benefit deductions and updates.</li><li>Contribute to overall HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, and training initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>2+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee benefits administration (based on general knowledge).</li><li>Knowledge of relevant state/federal employment law and benefits compliance.</li><li>Exceptional communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a collaborative team.</li></ul><p><br></p>
