Sr. Accountant
<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Turlock, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial and accounting functions, ensuring seamless operations and accurate reporting. The ideal Accountant will have a strong background in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial systems, paired with expertise in tools like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee daily financial and accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Perform cost analysis and pricing calculations for stock items, including in-progress and finished goods.</p><p>• Prepare and analyze budgeting documentation and financial reports for management review.</p><p>• Generate and interpret periodic cost statements and statistical data to evaluate operational trends.</p><p>• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries and account balances.</p><p>• Assist in compiling budgets and controlling costs, with detailed analysis of monthly performance against projections.</p><p>• Evaluate project and product costing to identify opportunities for increased profitability.</p><p>• Develop and improve financial management systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency.</p><p>• Conduct month-end close processes, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.</p><p>• Utilize software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting functions.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management.<br>• Proven expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.<br>• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entries.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.<br>• Strong analytical skills to assess operating results and budget variances.<br>• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
