Chief People Officer
<p>SPECIFIC JOB PERFORMED:</p><p>Assess existing human resource processes and replace outdated, paper-based systems with digital and automated solutions --including HRIS and electronic record-keeping-- driving the digital transformation of the human resources function and employee experience.</p><p>Act as a change agent to challenge ineffective processes and introduce innovative human resources solutions that improve efficiency and employee experience.</p><p>Lead, mentor and develop human resources staff to create a high-performing team that supports modernization and organizational growth.</p><p>Develop formal processes and department workflows to increase efficiency, consistency and a clear understanding of all human resources functions.</p><p>Manages, organizes and implements all human resources operations with guidance from the organization’s Handbook and policies.</p><p>Develop and manage a reliable and effective human resources team to achieve department goals in line with company's goals, mission and values.</p><p>Manage and participate in the development and review of job descriptions and classification specifications.</p><p>Manage and participate in all recruiting and hiring of qualified applicants, including administering testing and employment verifications as well as all other employment-related matters.</p><p>Develop and implement a structured onboarding program to ensure consistent, effective orientation for all new hires.</p><p>Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.</p><p>Maintains awareness of human resources trends and legal issues that may impact the organization.</p><p>Develop, recommend and implement organization-wide changes to policies and procedures to proactively respond to any current or future human resources concerns or issues.</p><p> Investigate employee complaints under organizational policies, including but not limited to complaints of discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation.</p><p>Direct and assist in the retirement, separation or dismissal of employees; to include exit interviews.</p><p>Serves as an internal liaison to organizational leaders, interpreting and ensuring adherence to established human resources policies and procedures, while maintaining compliance.</p><p>Represent company in unemployment hearings, termination appeals and other employee-related matters within Court, providing documentation and testimony as required.</p><p>Administer and oversee Qualified Medical Leave (QML) program, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with policy.</p><p>Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, aligning human resources initiatives with corporate objectives, including federal contracting opportunities.</p><p>Create and deliver employee training programs in areas such as harassment prevention, workplace safety, compliance, leadership and employee development. </p><p>Implement employee relations activities, such as team-building exercises and engagement initiatives with the goal of boosting morale, improving cooperation, fostering teamwork and improving performance. </p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.</p><p><br></p><p>Benefits:</p><p>Medical/Dental/Vision</p><p>Life and AD& D insurance</p><p>Long Term Disability</p><p>401k with match</p><p>80 hours PTO</p><p>14 paid holidays + floating birthday holiday</p><p>4 hours sick leave accrued each pay period</p>
