Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer with expertise in insurance defense litigation to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This role requires someone detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation cases, including no-fault claims.<br>• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.<br>• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and decision-making.<br>• Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective case strategies.<br>• Maintain compliance with all legal standards and ethical guidelines.<br>• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.<br>• Ensure timely completion of casework to meet billable hour requirements.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Licensed attorney with active bar membership in the state of Michigan.<br>• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense.<br>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and conducting discovery.<br>• Strong understanding of no-fault insurance laws and regulations.<br>• Excellent research and analytical skills to support case preparation.<br>• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.<br>• Effective written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Willingness to work remotely while maintaining a presence in Troy, Michigan, as needed.
