Art Director
<p>We are looking for a talented freelance Art Director to oversee creative projects across print and digital platforms. This role involves crafting innovative designs and strategies for eLearning materials, ensuring visually engaging and effective training content. Based in Troy, Michigan, this is a remote flexible long-term contract position ideal for a creative leader with a strong background in art direction and instructional design. This is an ad-hoc freelance position, looking for Art Directors with a flexible schedule for ongoing as needed work. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the creative vision and execution for eLearning modules and training materials, ensuring alignment with project goals.</p><p>• Design and manage both print and digital assets to enhance user engagement and learning experiences.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers and developers, to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.</p><p>• Oversee the creation of visually compelling graphics that support educational objectives.</p><p>• Provide direction and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet branding and content standards.</p><p>• Stay current with design trends and technologies to continuously improve creative output.</p><p>• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and quality.</p><p>• Develop and implement strategies for integrating effective visuals into eLearning and web-based platforms.</p><p>• Ensure consistency in design elements across various media.</p><p>• Contribute to brainstorming and concept development for new training initiatives.</p>
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in art direction, with a focus on both print and digital design.<br>• Strong expertise in graphic design, including proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.<br>• Proven experience in creating eLearning modules and instructional design materials.<br>• Familiarity with web development and digital content strategies.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.<br>• A portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, particularly in training and educational design.<br>• Strong understanding of branding principles and their application in visual content.
