<p>We are looking for a Software Developer to join our organization in Southern California in a Long-term Contract role. This position supports enterprise integration initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining secure API solutions across on-premises and cloud-connected environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with middleware and microservices, along with a strong ability to troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams. This is an onsite opportunity requiring presence four days per week and occasional limited travel.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Design, build, and maintain API-based integrations that connect business-critical applications across multiple platforms and environments.</p><p>• Develop and support services using DataPower and related integration technologies to enable secure and reliable system communication.</p><p>• Apply OAuth2 and other API security standards to protect services and ensure compliance with enterprise security expectations.</p><p>• Investigate production incidents, resolve technical issues, and provide ongoing support to maintain stable application performance.</p><p>• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver integration solutions that align with operational and technical requirements.</p><p>• Contribute to hybrid integration architecture spanning cloud and on-premises systems, with attention to scalability and maintainability.</p><p>• Manage day-to-day support activities effectively while identifying opportunities to improve service quality and team operations.</p><p>• Support major business applications used by functions such as finance, sales, manufacturing, warranty, and parts across the enterprise.</p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.<br>• 2–5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing integration or API solutions in enterprise environments.<br>• Practical knowledge of DataPower Gateway, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and API security frameworks such as OAuth2.<br>• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, hybrid environments, and modern delivery practices including CI/CD pipelines.<br>• Experience providing application support and troubleshooting in collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.<br>• Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts, system availability expectations, and scalable solution design.<br>• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, encourage collaboration, and contribute to high-quality service delivery.<br>• Automotive industry technology experience and awareness of data privacy and regulatory considerations are preferred.
