Senior .NET Developer
<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to support a great organization in Southern California. This Long-term Contract position requires a hands-on technical leader who can guide distributed development teams, translate business needs into effective software solutions, and help deliver reliable applications in an onsite environment four days each week. The role combines software engineering leadership, production support, and close coordination with offshore team members to maintain quality, consistency, and alignment with established technical standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead day-to-day coordination between onshore and offshore developers to keep work moving on schedule and aligned with architectural expectations.</p><p>• Build, enhance, test, and troubleshoot .NET-based applications, ensuring strong performance, maintainability, and compliance with functional requirements.</p><p>• Turn business needs and technical objectives into clear development tasks, technical designs, and user stories that engineering teams can execute effectively.</p><p>• Review code, validate deliverables, and enforce established standards for quality, security, and application performance.</p><p>• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and work with internal teams to restore application stability in a timely manner.</p><p>• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including interface details, design materials, and support information for ongoing development efforts.</p><p>• Create reports and extract data as needed to support analysis, operational decisions, and system feedback for users and leadership.</p><p>• Mentor less experienced team members by providing guidance on coding practices, problem solving, and software development best practices.</p><p>• Support all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment support, and change control activities.</p><p>• Track weekly progress, communicate delivery risks, and serve as the primary onshore contact for offshore escalations and dependency management.</p>
• Strong experience leading .NET application development efforts in enterprise environments.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support.<br>• Proficiency in coding, debugging, unit testing, and integration testing for large-scale web and database applications.<br>• Experience collaborating with offshore development teams and managing daily communication, task planning, and delivery oversight.<br>• Solid understanding of application architecture, technical documentation, interface design, and code review practices.<br>• Ability to analyze complex system issues, troubleshoot production problems, and recommend effective long-term solutions.<br>• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methods and established change control or configuration management processes.<br>• Working knowledge of JavaScript, monitoring practices, and software quality standards in a business-critical environment.
